To all meat-eaters: are you morally brave enough to watch this video inside a vet-approved abbatoir?

Jonathan,

I do not believe that eating meat is inhumane. It is how the animals are slaughtered that should be addressed.

I have seen this video and many other inhumane videos such as this one throughout my life. I think it is horrific, unmerciful, unethical and immoral to say the very least.
Not all slaughter houses are like this one.

Growing up on a ranch I always saw the quick merciful way to ready an animal for butchering. And, even then, it was a somber occassion.

Whether it was beef, lamb or pork the animal chosen received a perfectly aimed bullet to the temple; where the animal died instantly.
Quickly the beef, pork or lamb, would be hung by their feet, their throat slit;thus, allowing blood to drain and cleanse before preparing to butcher.
This process of slitting the throat is also mentioned in the King James Bible reference the proper way of killing an animal for an offering or for human consumption.

Living just plain Vegan is not always healthy as we need protein to survive and build our red blood cells. As Vegans we can get some protein from nuts, yogurt, lentils and by using supplements; however it is not always as easy as it seems.

I think the video here is not so much about eating meat, but about cruelty to animals as there is a right and wrong way to take animals to butcher.

On a side note: I do not condone "Sports Hunting" or killing for furs.
